Blooming garden.

These 2 pictures sum up the UK at the moment. We are having bursts of rain and then a few hours later the sun is shining. If only the sun would keep its hat on for more than a few days. Our garden is bursting due to a flipping good watering (there are still hose pipe bans here too in certain parts!) so the plants look really luscious. Rain drops on hostas and not too many slugs eating them is good news too.

This is one of our precious palms we inherited in the garden, after our first Christmas in this home which included lots of snowfall we lost a favourite, huge tree palm and we still feel bad about this so every Winter now we are out with our garden fleece. We ran short of fleece this year and this palm got wrapped in some insulation foil and looked like it had just ran a marathon! The snow and frost came and went and we have been worried.
But look we have had a flurry of new flowers on the palm and it has beat last years 3 flowers! Phew!
Love & garden time,
Emma
