Mr & Mrs Folly Bloom made a dash for it to the Lake District for a 24 hour fix of countryside. Joy.
The hills where rolling, the roads where winding, the daffodils where swaying and the coffee was flowing.
Our secret hide out is soon to be a caravan on a working farm, in a field with no mod cons to disrupt us.
The cherubs can run and play safely for as far as the eye can see, get mucky, fly kites, read under trees and watch farm life.
Tupperware, pots and pans have all been sorted and washed, cosy bedding of a mix match variety have all been made to get us through our first Summer there. We have measured and noted our future improvements and are quite giddy about some new gadget research for a solar panel!
One thing that amazes us every time is the beautiful night sky, it’s so dark with no city lights and the stars are amazing so we feel quite spoilt looking up at this, night night.
My dream list for Summer has started!
Lots of Kites!
Roll on a good summer and fields of green.
