Flip flops or Wellington boots??? x

April 4, 2012 by Folly Bloom

Easter Cherry Blossom.

Fat free Easter treats are popping open in the garden.

It’s the Easter break and the UK weather is either flip flops or Wellington boots so no change there.

The chill out vibe has kicked in and the cherubs are filling every room with their activities.

We all have a new common interest which is glueing us altogether this week.  It involves us looking at screens though and I will overlook this while they are all hooked and having ‘shared’ fun.

It is the IPhone App called Draw Something.

Draw Something family fun!

Draw Something family fun! My username is Emmafolly. Find me and I'll have a go......x

Also known as Pictionary in my day!

Draw Something’s dramatic rise to the top of Facebook app charts shows no signs of slowing,  about 14 million daily active users.  Draw Something also remains up there on the Top Free chart on the UK App Store.

With the mixed ages within our family and various abilities this has been good family fun.  Big daughter set us all up and has involved her Aunty B in our new game too.

One great thing that we have noticed is it has helped tons with reading, sounding out letters and spelling and as  parents it’s cool to see them try and suceed.

Tea & chocolate egg!
