Hi Folly Bloom peeps.
After having a little ‘Folly’ around I bring to you a variety of Follyness!
Whimsical or extravagant structure built to serve as a conversation piece, found especially in England in the 18th century keep popping up at me. As I love the word ‘whimsical’ this is the a wonderful, whimsical house design in Mexico City.
The modern Nautilus House designed by architect Javier Senosiain of Arquitectura Organica must be wonderful to look at, walk through and enjoy it for what it is – a blend of modern architecture and contemporary art.
This is a great find and now on my wish list! Folly Beach is a city, located on historic Folly Island, in Charleston County, South Carolina, United States. Apparently were laid back locals live and students of Charleston College “surf”.
The final over the top piece of Folly has to be this great Wurlitzer, so pretty, so full of buttons to press and you can’t beat the sound of an organ. It takes me back to the days our Grandparents used to take us as little ones down Blackpool pier.
Love and all things Follyfancy!
